The first & foremost thing in order to fix and save Social Security for present and future generations of Americans is to get it out of the hands of Congress. There is absolutely no reason to reduce Social Security benefits for future generations; also, as president, Mad Max would end taxing Social Security. All American citizens will eventually be Senior Citizens; and all Americans should be able to start collecting their Social Security at age 62.

Lester Townsend is a retired IRS Pension Agent and Appeals Officer whose career included every non-criminal enforcement position in the IRS. Mr. Townsend is a former ranking member of the Constitution Party, which rejected his proposed fix of Social Security; which the Constitution Party would abolish.
Mad Max’s presidential position concerning Social Security is that it MUST be safe guarded for present and future generations of American Citizens. Illegal and legal immigrants do not have any rights to collect one penny of our Social Security; Legal immigrants who have a valid Social Security number and pay into the system should have no right no collect from Social Security; period. Social Security should only benefit citizens of the United States of America and NO others. While legal residents who are non American citizens should be required to pay into Social Security to help support Americans receiving SS benefits, none of the money that they pay into the system while they are legal residents should be used for any future Social Security benefits if and when they may become legal residents. Illegal immigrants should not have a valid Social Security number and therefore must not/should not be covered (page 93 in book).
With the out of control spending by Washington, D.C. politicians, Townsends Section entitled “not yours to give” by Colonel Davy Crockett is particularly insightful and worth reading by all American citizens.
